Matimba ist eine strategisch wichtige Kleinstadt im Norden Ruandas nahe dem Grenzübergang zu Uganda und Tansania. Die fruchtbare Gegend ist Weidegebiet der Langhorn Rinder. Seit 2016 ist Dine with the King Ministries mit verschiedenen Seminaren und Konferenzen dort engagiert, mit ermutigenden Ergebnissen.
Matimba in northern Rwanda is a strategically important location in the border triangle of Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania. The fertile land is the grazing area for Longhorn cattle. Since 2016, Dine with the King Ministries has been involved in various seminars and conferences there, with positive results.

Der erste Besuch in Matimba erfolgte im Dezember 2016.
DINE Ministries war zu einer 3-tägigen Konferenz eingeladen, beginnend Sonntag 11.12. mit dem Gottesdienst. Am Montag und Dienstag fanden vormittags Seminare für Pastoren aus der Umgebung statt. Am 2.Tag nahmen ca. 60 Pastoren teil.
Das Nachmittags- Programm war offen für jedermann.
Pastor Peter von Matimba und Pastor Kabagema aus Kigali leiteten diese Tage. Gottes Wort berührte die Herzen und ermutigte, die begonnene Arbeit weiterzuführen.
Aufgrund vieler Nachfragen kam DINE Ministries im Januar 2017 kurzfristig zu einer 2-tägigen Folge- Konferenz zurück.
The first visit in Matimba took place in December 2016.
DINE Ministries was invited to a 3-days conference, beginning with the Sunday service at 11 December. Seminars for pastors from neighbouring villages were offered at Monday and Tuesday mornings up to noon. The afternoon program was open for everyone.
Pastor Peter from Matimba and Pastor Kabagema from Kabuga conducted these days. God's word touched the hearts and encouraged to continue in the work of God.
Due to many requests DINE Ministries came back for a 2-days follow up conference in January 2017.

Da dringend weitere Schulungen gewünscht wurden, planten die dortigen Pastoren für September 2017 eine 7-tägige Konferenz in der Stadthalle von Matimba.
Zu den Seminaren am Vormittag kamen erneut bis zu 60 Pastoren, einige aus weit entfernten Dörfern. Viele blieben den ganzen Tag dabei. Nachmittags beteiligten sich weitere Gäste.
Gottes Geist wirkte nachhaltige Veränderungen und Erweckung unter den Christen in Matimba.
As further training was urgently required, the pastors there planned a 7-day conference for September 2017 at Matimba Town Hall.
Once again, up to 60 pastors came to the morning seminars, some from distant villages. Many stayed for the whole day. More guests joined in the afternoon.
God's Spirit worked lasting changes and revival among the Christians in Matimba during these days.

Die nächste 3-tägige Konferenz in Matimba fand Anfang November 2018 in einer Kirche statt, vorbereitet von einem Pastorenteam. Mit großer Freude und Herzlichkeit nahmen sie Gottes Botschaft und ebenso das DINE Ministries Team auf. Gottes Geist wirkte Ermutigung, Erneuerung und Veränderung. Nach einigen Einsätzen in Matimba dürfen wir durch Gottes Gnade die Früchte unserer Arbeit sehen.
The next 3-day conference in Matimba took place in a church at the beginning of November 2018, prepared by a team of pastors. They received God's message and the DINE Ministries team with great joy and warmth. God's Spirit worked encouragement, renewal and change. After several outreaches in Matimba, by God's grace we can see the fruits of our work.
Matimba - Discipleship Training - 3 - 14 November 2018
2019 ist DINE Ministires zum 5 x in Matimba. Die herzliche Gastfreundschaft macht den Ort zu einer weiteren Heimat.
Das Thema dieser Konferenz und Jüngerschaft-Schulung „catch the fire“ wurde von 7 internationalen Lehrern (je 2 aus Deutschland, Uganda, Ruanda, einer aus Kenia) in folgenden Seminaren unterrichtet:
Unsere Identität, Position und Mission als Kinder Gottes - Der Heilige Geist, Gaben und Früchte - Der Diener und sein Dienst - Gemeinde und ihr Einfluss im Umfeld - Evangelisation - Gebet, Gebetsnetzwerke (Gebetsaltäre) - Braut Christi.
Mehr als 120 Pastoren und Leiter hatten sich für die 11 tägige Konferenz vom 3.–14.11. in Matimba angemeldet, weitere Tagesgäste nahmen teil. Redner und Teilnehmer reisten teils von weit her an, aus Uganda, Kenia und verschiedenen Distrikten Ruandas.
Verantwortlich für die Organisation vor Ort war ein Team aus Pastoren verschiedener Gemeinden, die mit großem Einsatz diese Tage planten und liebevoll alle Gäste versorgten, unter der Leitung von Senior Pastor Theoneste Ruhinda, Pastor John Gashumba und Pastor Faustine Muhoza.
Die gute Kooperation zwischen den Pastoren und der lokalen Verwaltung ermöglichte die Konferenz. Zur offiziellen Eröffnung sowie am Abschlusstag ermutigte ein Vertreter des Bürgermeisters die Teilnehmer und DINE Ministries, die begonnene Arbeit fortzusetzen.
Jeder Tag in der Stadthalle begann mit einem gemeinsamen Frühstück. Von ca.10 – 12.30h füllten Anbetung, Gebet und 2 Seminare das Programm. Nach dem gemeinsamen Mittagessen ging es ohne größere Pause weiter. Der Tag endete mit dem Abendessen ca.18.00h, an einigen Tagen auch später.
Mit großer Aufmerksamkeit waren alle Teilnehmer dabei. Ermutigende Zeugnisse bestätigen die Wichtigkeit und Nachhaltigkeit dieser Schulungen. Das Mitarbeiter Team war ebenso gesegnet und ermutigt durch das Wirken des Geistes Gottes in diesen Tagen. Gottes Gegenwart war spürbar und die Atmosphäre zunehmend mit Freude, Frieden, Liebe und großer Erwartung erfüllt.
An einem Morgen besuchten einige Dine Mitarbeiter die technische Cleveland Schule um für die Examen der Studenten zu beten.
Am Sonntagmorgen predigten die DINE Team Mitarbeiter in verschiedenen Kirchen in Matimba.
In einer weiteren Konferenz sollen die Themen vertieft werden.
2019 is the 5th time DINE Ministires has been to Matimba. The warm hospitality makes the place another home.
The theme of this conference and discipleship training “catch the fire” was taught by 7 international teachers (2 each from Germany, Uganda, Rwanda, one from Kenya) in the following seminars:
Our identity, position and mission as children of God - The Holy Spirit, gifts and fruits - The servant and his ministry - Church and its influence in the environment - Evangelism - Prayer, prayer networks (prayer altars) - Bride of Christ.
More than 120 pastors and leaders registered for the 11-day conference from November 3-14 in Matimba, with additional day guests attending. Some of the speakers and participants traveled from far away, from Uganda, Kenya and various districts of Rwanda.
Responsible for the local organization was a team of pastors from various churches, who planned these days with great dedication and lovingly cared for all the guests, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Theoneste Ruhinda, Pastor John Gashumba and Pastor Faustine Mohoza.
The good cooperation between the pastors and the local administration enabled the conference to take place. At the official opening and on the closing day, a representative of the mayor encouraged the participants and DINE Ministries to continue the work they had begun.
Each day in the city hall began with a joint breakfast. From about 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the program was filled with worship, prayer and two seminars. After lunch together, the program continued without a major break. The day ended with dinner at around 6 p.m., on some days even later.
All participants were very attentive. Encouraging testimonies confirm the importance and sustainability of these training's. The staff team was also blessed and encouraged by the work of God's Spirit during these days. God's presence was palpable and the atmosphere was increasingly filled with joy, peace, love and great expectation.
One morning, some Dine members visited the Cleveland Technical School to bless the students and pray for their exams.
On Sunday morning, the DINE team members preached in different churches in Matimba.
Another conference will be held to discuss the topics in greater depth.
